In today’s podcast, I’ll be talking about simplifying and demystifying the 3 act novel structure. I’ve heard quite a lot about how it is seen as too rigid to be usable in a modern novel. I say that it’s as rigid as you think it should be.
In this podcast:
I will be discussing the three acts and each of their roles in your novel.
1st act – roughly first 25%
2nd act – roughtly 25% to 75%
3rd act – Roughtly the last 25%
The second act can be split up in 2 before 50% and after 50%, at the midpoint
